"Can't we just get rid of wine lists? Do we really have to be reminded every time we go out to a nice restaurant that we have no idea what we are doing? Why don't they just give us a trigonometry...

Neagles Rock Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
As is expected from good Clare Cabernet, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep and dark in colour with a lifted violet and herbal nose. The palate is rich, full and complex with blackcurrant, licorice, mocha, an herbal mintiness and subtle fruit cake characters. The finish is long and satisfying but very tight and refined.
It is drinking well now, but this lovely Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon will improve over time, and can be cellared for 8 to 9 years.
